Blake is responsible for underwriting investment and development opportunities, managing project due diligence, and assisting in leasing and disposition of assets for Stotan Industrial.
Prior to joining Stotan Industrial, Blake was the Investment Sales Analyst for Colliers International. Blake focused on underwriting, research, and marketing of all listings in the Chicagoland and Midwest markets.
Before joining Colliers, Blake spent two years at Shive-Hattery as an Electrical Engineer Designer. He was responsible for creating engineering drawings for retail, industrial, and office spaces for corporate clients.
Blake also spent a year as a Supply Chain Associate at PepsiCo’s 2 million SF Quaker Oats manufacturing facility. He managed a diverse team of operators and electricians while deploying technical procedures to increase efficiency throughout the plant. Blake is a member of NAIOP Developing Leaders.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics from the University of Iowa.
Jack Sweany joined Stotan Industrial in May of 2022. He is responsible for managing implementation from zoning and entitlement through occupancy of new development opportunities for Stotan Industrial.
Prior to joining Stotan, he was a Project Manager at McShane Construction in Rosemont, IL. He managed design/build and general construction of build-to-suit and speculative industrial warehouse and commercial office projects both locally in the Chicago area and nationally. During his seven years with McShane he completed 2+ million square feet of industrial buildings.
Jack is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Marquette University and a master degree in construction engineering and management from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Michaela is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, coordinating events, and streamlining processes to increase company efficiency. She supports executives and the team in proposals, presentations, and database management and is also responsible for social media management - design, and distribution of marketing materials through marketing channels. Michaela is heavily involved in expense tracking and assisting external accountant with accounting and tax preparations.
Newly, acting as Investor Relations Representative, managing investor portal, fund, and subscriptions; providing customer support to investors and assists with tax and financial statements preparation.
Michaela is MBA Candidate at Lewis University with micro-credentials in Finance & Digital Marketing. She holds Bachelor's Degree in General Business Administration from Northeastern Illinois University.
Michaela is fluent in English, Czech and Slovak.
Dan Fogarty joined Stotan Industrial as Chief Investment Officer-Principal in January 2022. He is responsible for identifying, pursuing and directing new build-to-suit and speculative development opportunities across the U.S.
In this capacity, Dan maintains a strong network with national and local brokerage firms and is responsible for directing all relationships with stakeholders involved in each project. A 25-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, he has extensive experience in acquisitions, leasing, asset management and ground-up development.
Prior to joining Stotan Industrial, Dan was Executive Vice President of Investment & Development at Becknell Industrial. During his six plus years at Becknell, he orchestrated the development of more than 1600 acres across 11 states resulting in 57 buildings totaling 18+ million square feet and with a total investment value of $1.8 billion. Notable projects completed include: Old Augusta Commerce Center in Savannah, GA; Air Commerce Park in Orlando, FL; North Las Vegas Business Parkin Las Vegas, NV; and Madison Business Center in Tampa, FL.
Before joining Becknell Industrial, Dan served for eight years as Vice President and Market Officer at Conor Commercial Real Estate in Rosemont, IL where he was charged with the management of all existing industrial and office projects within the Midwest, as well as identifying new investment opportunities.
Prior to his tenure at Conor, he also worked as a Vice President at In Site Real Estate in Oak Brook, IL and Director of Leasing at First Industrial Realty Trust in Chicago, IL. Dan is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and received his MBA from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. He is an associate-member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR),National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and on the Membership Committee of the Industrial Asset Management Council.
Bobby Patterson joined Stotan Industrial in July of 2021 and currently holds a position of Vice President - Market Officer focusing on sourcing more opportunities in the Greater Chicago market. He is responsible for underwriting investment and development opportunities, managing project due diligence and assisting in leasing and disposition of assets for Stotan Industrial.
Bobby was one of the first employees to join Stotan. He started as an Associate, but soon got promoted to Development Manager.
Prior to joining Stotan, he was an Associate at Colliers International where he provided real estate advisory work for occupiers based both in Chicago and nationally. Prior to his work advising clients of the firm, Bobby supported Colliers’ Chicago office both as a Financial Analyst and a Research analyst. Bobby is a member of the Urban Land Institute and a NAIOP Developing Leader. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics & Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
James E. McGill launched Stotan Industrial in 2021. As President-Principal, he is responsible for all investment and development opportunities for Stotan Industrial.
Prior to assuming this leadership and ownership position at Stotan, he was an Executive Vice President at CA Industrial which is a subsidiary of Chicago based CA Ventures. Jim was hired by founder to start up industrial platform in fall 2018 and during his tenure completed and stabilized approximately $50M of core assets in Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Chicago with another $92 M (1.35 SF) of product under construction in Indianapolis and Columbus submarkets. Jim was instrumental to the overall growth of the CA Industrial platform.
Before joining CA Ventures, Jim was Managing Director of Capital Deployment for the Central Region for Prologis from 2011-2018 where he was responsible for all capital deployment activities within the Central Region. During this time, Jim completed $1.1 B of development projects including 21 Build-to-Suit projects totaling 12.9M square feet. His build-to-suit clients included many Fortune 500 companies such as Amazon, Procter & Gamble, Subaru, Carrier Corporation, Kimberly Clark, Home Depot and Ulta Beauty. In addition, his team acquired over $700M of core and value-added properties within the Central Region.
Previous to Prologis, Jim joined AMB in 2004 as Senior Vice President of Development and established the Midwest and Pacific Northwest development team. During this time, his team constructed over 4.5M square feet of industrial product and deployed over $500M of capital in Chicago, Dallas, Seattle and the Central Valley of Northern California.
After several years in banking and real estate lending, Jim launched his development career and spent eight years at McShane Company, where he held the position of Executive Vice President of Development. His responsibilities included developing and managing more than 2.5M square feet of industrial properties with a market value in excess of $110M and more than 1M square feet of office properties with value in excess of $150M.
Jim is a member of the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE), the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP). He holds a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from Iowa State University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Iowa.
